First Anniversary: Insights, Screenshots, and GIFs!

May 2017 Update

Hi people! This Saturday will mark one year since we released the demo. It's been an incredible process, so we want to share some of the things that have happened so far, since now there's a space for devlogs on itch.io.

To this date, the demo has been downloaded over 100,000 times across all the platforms it's been uploaded to, and a couple hundreds Let's Plays have been uploaded to YouTube.

On the press, we appeared on some big news sites we never thought we would be on, like IGN, Siliconera, Gamasutra, Kill Screen, etc. Not only that, but we had the opportunity to show the demo on different parts around the world, and visit cool events, like Day of the Devs in San Francisco, and Tokyo Game Show 2016.

That aside, the development has been going smoothly. We've been working on Unity ever since the demo, and there are a lot of things that got fixed in contrast to the demo, like a widescreen resolution and bigger portraits, support for localization, better optimization, a lot more places to explore during the scenes seen in the demo, etc.

The maps have improved a lot since the demo, since I've been learning during the whole process. Here are some details of the maps:
